Police make arrest in shooting investigation

TORONTO – Toronto police have arrested an 18-year-old man wanted in connection with a shooting in the city’s north end.

Police allege that on Thursday a group of four people confronted a man in the hallway of a building.

Police allege the man pulled out a handgun and fired at the group, hitting a 19-year-old man in the hand.

They claim an 18-year-old man in the group then also pulled out a firearm and shot at the man before everyone fled the scene.

Police say 18-year-old Adrian Scott – who was wanted on three charges including discharging a firearm endangering life – was arrested on Saturday and was set to appear in court on Sunday.

Police say they still haven’t identified the other man allegedly involved in the incident, who is described as a black male, but are asking the public for help.
