UPDATE:
The body that was pulled from Okanagan Lake at City Park in Kelowna has been removed from the scene.
Police say they were originally alerted of a person floating face-down in Okanagan Lake just before 10 a.m., on Thursday.
Officers plus members from Emergency Health Services and the Kelowna Fire Department were quickly on scene. The body was recovered, but the adult female could not be revived.

A small section of City Park in Kelowna has been taped off by police after the discovery of a body on Thursday.
Little is known so far about the incident, except that the deceased is a woman.
