Good news for ballet fans in the Okanagan; Ballet Kelowna will be around for at least one more season.

Artistic Director David LeHay explained they don’t owe any money, they just didn’t have enough money to go forward.

The news came as a shock to the community and even the dancers.

But now Ballet Kelowna has a new Board of Directors, and today it announced there will move another season in the fall.

It say it is encouraged with the positive support its receiving from the Okanagan.

Details of the 2013-2014 season are still being worked out, and so are details of its fund raising campaign.
