Hamilton police issue 17 liquor tickets to St. Patrick’s Day partiers

Hamilton police say 17 tickets were issued for liquor offences, 11 licensed establishments were inspected and one person was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.

Hamilton police say the city enjoyed a safe St. Patrick’s Day.

They stepped up police presence in the McMaster University student housing and Westdale area this weekend.

As a result, 17 tickets were issued for liquor offences, 11 licensed establishments were inspected, and one person was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
