Global News Calgary and Global News Radio 770 CHQR have together been nominated for 12 Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) Awards in the Prairie region.
The RTDNA Canada Awards honour the best journalists, programs, stations and news gathering organizations in radio, television and digital journalism platforms.
The Prairie region winners are announced at the regional awards ceremony on April 6, 2019 in Saskatoon, Sask.
Below are the nine nominations for Global Calgary and 770 CHQR’s 2018 content, which recognize stories from podcasting to data journalism to technical innovation.
