Police say a 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged after four armed robberies were reported in Barrie.
Barrie police say on Monday just before 3 p.m., a fast food outlet on Bayfield Street was reportedly robbed.
Police say when the suspect failed to obtain any money, he fled across the street and entered a hair salon where he allegedly produced a weapon and demanded money.

Officers say he failed again to obtain money and fled through the parking lot of the Georgian Mall.
Police say the suspect was located quickly by officers and was placed under arrest.
Officers say he is now facing several charges in connection with the two attempted robberies on Monday, and two armed robberies reported on Sunday.
Police say the 19-year-old man from Barrie has been charged with four counts of disguise with intent to commit a crime, four counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and four counts of robbery with a weapon.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court in Barrie on Tuesday for a bail hearing.
