Woman sexually assaulted in downtown Saskatoon: police

Police say a woman was sexually assaulted in downtown Saskatoon over the weekend.

The woman told police she was walking to her car early Saturday morning in the 100-block of 21st Street East when she was assaulted by a man.

The 22-year-old woman was treated for non-life-threatening physical injuries.

Police said the suspect is Caucasian, six-feet with a skinny build, and short brown shaggy hair.

He was wearing either a charcoal grey large sweater or jacket.

Investigators are seeking more information, including any surveillance video of the area.
