Elderly man charged after collision between vehicle, Grand River Transit bus in Kitchener

An elderly man has been charged following a collision between a Grand River Transit bus and a vehicle in Kitchener on Friday morning.

Police say the crash occurred at around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Belmont Avenue West and Claremont Avenue.

The driver of the vehicle, an 86-year-old man, was taken to Grand River Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He has since been released.
