Firefighters were called to a house near 93 Street and 108 Avenue on Thursday afternoon.
At 2:30 p.m., smoke could be seen coming from the house, which appeared to be still under construction.
Fire crews were battling the blaze on the upper floor and through the caved-in roof of the McCauley area home.
The fire was declared out just after 6 p.m.
There is no word yet on possible causes or damage estimate.
