Just under 2,500 customers were without power south of Winnipeg, including hundreds in the town of Morris, due to an outage Tuesday morning.
Manitoba Hydro said they were heading to the scene but were unsure of the cause.
Power was restored to most customers just before 9 a.m.
Temperatures south of Winnipeg Tuesday were in the -25C range with a windchill hovering around -38.
