Calgary police arrest man in relation to Valentine’s Day shooting

Calgary police are thanking the public for helping them locate a man wanted in connection with a shooting on Valentine’s Day.

Police said a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 1400-block of Renfrew Drive N.E., at around 1 a.m. on Feb. 14. The victim was taken to hospital in non-life-threatening condition and later released.

On Sunday, officers arrested 25-year-old Justin David Fogg.

“Upon his arrest, police seized items related to the shooting, as well as methamphetamine, GHB, brass knuckles, a taser and bear spray,” the Calgary Police Service said in a Monday news release.

Fogg is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, March 15.
