Pockets the painting monkey

Pockets Warhol, a white-capped capuchin monkey, has started painting abstract creations. They have been sold to buyers as far as Europe and Isarel for hundreds of dollars. Primate Paints for Pocket Money Art critics have gone bananas over paintings by a monkey. Pockets has had his paintings sell for as much as GBP 250 to buyers from as far as Europe and Israel. He paints with his tail, hands, feet and even a brush. The works themselves are abstract with colours splattered all over the canvas. Pockets lives on Story Book Farm, a Primate Sanctuary in Canada where he arrived two years ago. He is named after American pop artist Andy Warhol, whom he resembles with his wild white hair but his paintings have been likened to work similar to Jackson Pollock and Joan Mitchell.
