Kingston police looking for missing man last seen at local shelter

Kingston police are looking for a man who has been missing for just under a month.

Police say Paul Helland was last seen on Jan. 21, at a local shelter, but has not been seen since.

He was reported missing to police on Feb 12. Police say it is uncommon for Helland not to be seen in and around the Kingston area.

Helland is 68 years old, approximately five feet, eight inches tall, 141 pounds and has a slim build. He is described as having short grey hair and a goatee.

Police say Helland usually wears a large black winter jacket, a black baseball cap with flames on it, and winter boots, and he may be seen wearing glasses.

Kingston police have searched through the city, including in local hospitals and shelters, but have come up empty-handed.
