Janice would like to see the province offer a ‘carer’s allowance’, similar to a program in Britain which offers a government-paid ‘salary’ to those who provide 35 or more hours a week of support to a loved one with a disability or chronic illness.

Janice is looking for families in similar situations to help lobby the government to introduce such a program.
