Viewers across the pond may have been a little shocked Tuesday morning when they turned on the telly and saw a protester exposing the “truth” about Brexit, along with her breasts.

Dr. Victoria Bateman appeared on Good Morning Britain, telling viewers “Brexit leaves Britain naked.”

“The key message that I really have to deliver is that Brexit is the emperor’s new clothes,” the Cambridge University economic fellow said. “What high-profile Brexiteers promised voters is not possible to deliver.”

The breakfast talk show censored Bateman’s naked body to avoid offending any viewers. Last week, the woman stripped off her clothing during an interview with BBC Radio, surprising the host.

“We see naked women around us all the time. We see the scantily clad in advertising, there’s a whole world of pornography out there,” the protester said. “If you go to any art gallery in the UK or across the world you will see nudes in the world. The common thing about all of those women is that they are silent. They are not allowed a voice. What is shocking perhaps to some people is a woman who is naked with a voice.”

The economist denied being an exhibitionist.

“Why should I as a woman only be able to use my body for sex and babies, why shouldn’t I also be able to use my body to deliver an important political message?”

Needless to say U.K. viewers were a little shocked by the not-so-naked naked protester, and some took the opportunity to take digs at GMB co-host Piers Morgan.

“For once @piersmorgan wasn’t the biggest tit on our screen in the morning. #GMB,” reads a comment on Twitter.

“It’s a bit mad that they blurred out the naked woman’s chest, whilst being interviewed. To prevent people from being offended,” reads another. “But allow Piers Morgan to present 3 days a week.”
