Residential streets to be plowed starting Sunday night; parking ban will be in effect

Do you Know Your Zone?

The residential parking ban will be in effect as of 7 p.m. Sunday as the city plows residential streets.

The city is urging Winnipeggers to confirm their zone letters, so they know when their street is scheduled to be plowed.

You can find your zone letter by using the city’s Address Lookup Tool, by calling 311, or using the Know Your Zone app.

Zones E, J, L, M, O, S and V will be plowed from 7 p.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday.

Zones A, F, H, K, N, R, U will be plowed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.

Zones B, G, I, P, Q, T will be plowed from 7 p.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Zone D will be plowed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Zone C will be plowed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

If you’re parked in violation of the ban, you could be hit with a $150 ticket and have your vehicle towed to a nearby street.
