Environment Canada is advising people in eastern Ontario to brace for more nasty weather.
Freezing drizzle and high winds are expected for the Kingston region, and winds as high as 100 km/h could hit the Napanee and Prince Edward County areas.
Environment Canada says there may be a short period of freezing rain while temperatures rise above zero in Kingston, more frequent freezing drizzle is expected to affect the region on Thursday.
On top of the precipitation, the weather agency is expecting winds as high as 90 km/h to blow through the Kingston region over Thursday evening and into Friday morning.
Canada’s weather agency says that winds could reach up to 100 km/h near the shores of Lake Ontario, and may slow down on Friday afternoon.

Many municipalities saw a large amount of freezing rain on Wednesday, which prompted closures and collisions on major roadways between Kingston and Prince Edward County.
The environmental agency is warning people to travel safely and watch out for slippery roadways, as well as to be prepared for loose objects that may be tossed by the wind.
