Winnipeg police have provided some new details on shootings at a Main Street restaurant that left two men dead Wednesday morning.
Cst. Rob Carver told 680 CJOB’s Clay Young Thursday that the two victims were known to police.
Carver also confirmed that the men were not employees at the restaurant, Johnny G’s.
“As of this morning, I don’t believe that investigators are looking to lay any more charges,” he said.
“There is a male in custody in relation to this.”
Carver said the investigation is far from over, and that more details will be released when they become available.
“I realize that what we’re not saying is adding to some public concern,” he said.
