Wynne talks gas plants, casino and public transit

TORONTO – Premier Kathleen Wynne appeared on The Morning Show Thursday morning and took on questions about the cost of cancelled gas plants, road tolls to build transit and a casino in Toronto.

“[Transit] is important enough to the region, the quality of people’s lives, our economy. We are losing productivity every single year because of good and people not being able to move around on the roads,” Wynne said.

“I am committed to doing this and it’s not about my political career. It’s not about whether I win an election or not. It’s about whether we as a region, all of us together, decide that we are going to take on this collective project of making sure that your grandchildren and their children have the transit system that they need.”
