The driver of a suspicious van who was pulled over by police on the QEW in Burlington has been charged.
OPP stopped the vehicle in a high risk takedown near Appleby Line Wednesday after several motorists reported seeing a van with the word “KILL” spray-painted in large white letters on the back window.
The man, who police say was wearing a ski mask, was taken into custody without incident.
Police have identified the driver as Nikola Petrovic, 47, of St. Catharines.
He has been charged with dangerous driving, mischief, and using a disguise with intent.
