Occupational Health and Safety is investigating after two roofers fell from a house on Wednesday morning and were seriously injured.
According to OHS, the two men fell from the house on Mount Douglas Close at about 7:30 a.m.
EMS said Wednesday afternoon that paramedics assessed and treated two men — one in his 20s and another in his 40s — for injuries sustained from a “high fall” before taking them to hospital.
The man in his 20s suffered serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. The man in his 40s was also seriously injured but was in stable condition as of 4:25 p.m.

OHS spokesperson Trent Bancarz said officers were sent to the scene to investigate the circumstances around the fall. He could not say whether the men were wearing safety gear or how they fell.
