A Kingston man is facing nine charges after Kingston police were called to a local motel.
Police were called to the west end of the city around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning to respond to reports of a man brandishing what looked like a revolver as he approached a motel room.
According to a police news release, someone inside the motel room tried to keep the man out, but he allegedly forced his way in.
When police arrived, they found a woman inside the room and the man was locked in the motel room’s bathroom, naked. Police say he was not holding a revolver.
After the man was arrested, police say they found out he was allegedly breaching numerous undertakings and probation conditions including curfew.
An officer searched the room and found the firearm which police said turned out to be a pellet gun. Police said they also found brass knuckles, and two small bags of what police believe to be cocaine and crystal meth in the suspect’s shoes.

The 46-year-old Kingston man was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of breach undertaking and three counts of breach probation.
