“The driver of a city bus had to swerve to avoid being hit by one,” says RCMP spokesman, Gord Molendyk.

He says one of the balloons smashed through the windshield of a car.

“The car was being driven by a woman with her five-year-old child in car. As you can appreciate, the driver very upset by this dangerous act. We are certainly fortunate there were no injuries.”

Molendyk says one of the youths was wearing a light-blue hoody and a baseball cap.
