A 13-year-old boy is in hospital after he was struck by a car Tuesday morning in the community of Panorama.
The boy was hit just before 8 a.m. while crossing Panatella Blvd. near Panamount Blvd. N.W.

EMS says he is in the Alberta Children’s Hospital in serious but stable condition, and that his injuries are not life-threatening.
Police shut down part of Panatella Blvd. while they investigated.
There is no word yet on whether charges are pending against the driver, who may not have seen the boy because of the bright sun.
