Manitoba Hydro dealt with a pair of sleepy black bear cubs who decided to nap on a transmission pole Wednesday.

The pair apparently climbed up the pole near Sundown, Man., then promptly went to sleep.

Hydro, along with officials from Manitoba Conservation, tried to figure out how to get the bears down safely, adding they’d turned the power off around the pole to protect the cubs.
