Truck driver arrested after driving wrong way on Hwy. 403: police

A man is facing impaired driving charges after a transport truck was spotted going the wrong way on Highway 403 near Brant Road 25 on Sunday evening.

The OPP said they received several calls just after 7 p.m. that the truck was going east in the westbound lanes near Brant County.

Police tracked down the vehicle, and pulled it over.

While speaking with the driver, officers said they detected signs of alcohol impairment and the man was arrested.
