Heidi Klum races to help son, nannies in Hawaii

TORONTO – TV personality and supermodel Heidi Klum jumped into action Sunday when her son and two nannies were swept into the ocean by a big wave in Hawaii.

Klum was vacationing in Oahu with her four children when her son Henry, 7, and two nannies were caught in a riptide, according to reports.

The Project Runway host and her boyfriend, bodyguard Martin Kristen, rushed to their aid.

In a statement to Us Weekly, Klum said: ” Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water.”

Klum said Henry, a strong swimmer, was able to swim back to shore.

“We were able to get everyone out safely.”
