Cash, cigarettes stolen from Saskatoon store by 2 men armed with shotgun

Saskatoon police are trying to find two men who made off with cash and cigarettes in an armed robbery of a convenience store early Tuesday morning.

The theft in the 1100-block of Central Avenue happened at roughly 5:50 a.m. CT.

Staff said two masked people who were wielding a sawed-off shotgun stole cash and cigarettes. Police believe they fled in a vehicle.

The men are described as being roughly five-feet, with slim builds, and brown eyes. They were wearing black bunny hugs.
