Nicole Scardino, who has been accused of the murder of her former partner, was released on a $50,000 bail on Thursday.
Scardino, 45, appeared in a Belleville court on Thursday, where the judge released her into the custody of her securities. She will not be under house arrest, but she is forbidden to contact several people, and she was also ordered not to go to West Street in Trenton, where the alleged murder occurred on June 16.
Scardino has been accused of striking Samuel Andrews with a vehicle on a private driveway on West Street. Andrews, 49, died at the scene of the collision.

Police later discovered that Andrews and Scardino were previously involved in a romantic relationship.
Scardino was charged with second-degree murder. Her next court appearance will be Sept. 13.
