UPDATE: Body of Ontario man reported missing found near national park in Saskatchewan
Editor’s note: Grassland National Park originally said the missing hiker was 60 years old.
Searchers are scouring Grasslands National Park in southern Saskatchewan for a missing hiker.
Donald Stoliker, 63, who had expressed an interest to hike the Ecotour Road, was last seen in the area of the south access route to the west block of the park on Aug. 1 at 3:30 p.m. CT.

He has not been seen since and a search for him was started on Thursday by RCMP, a police dog, Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA), and local volunteers.
Park officials and police are concerned for Stoliker’s well-being as he has health issues.
Stoliker is Caucasian with a slight build, short dark hair flecked with grey, and wears glasses. He walks with a limp and has a deformed fourth finger on his right hand.
He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and faded blue jeans, and was carrying a small light-coloured backpack with a sleeping roll.

Park officials are reminding people visiting the back country to let friends and family know where they are going and to check in with park staff when visiting the park.
