Swim advisory lifted for Gull Lake Beach in Gravenhurst

The swim advisory at Gull Lake Beach in Gravenhurst has been lifted.

According to a release issued Friday, the Town of Gravenhurst received notice from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit that the advisory has been lifted.

The swim advisory was initially issued on July 31, after elevated bacteria levels at the beach were recorded.

A swimming advisory is issued when bacteria levels exceed those considered acceptable by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.
