MacDonald says that will generate about $11.6 million in extra for the government’s coffers.

The increases will affect a range of services and programs including museum admissions, sport fishing licences and driver’s permits, though some won’t take affect until 2014.

Fees for government service organizations such as school boards and health authorities will not be affected.

The last fee increase was in April 2011.
