“I thought he was seeing things or going crazy. I’m like, ‘What are you saying? There’s no horse,'” she told Global News.

“I turned to look and I see this big black figure. I tell him, ‘It’s not a horse, dad. It’s a moose.'”

The father-daughter duo started following the animal, fearing that it may get hurt or into an accident.

“I didn’t know where to call, but there’s a moose running on the road. The guy asked me if I was sure it was a moose, thinking I was probably crazy,” she said.

“I told him, ‘No sir, I know it’s a moose. I’m not crazy.’ He then asked how big the moose was and where I was located. I replied by saying it was a young female who was still quite large, bigger than a pick-up truck.”

“It was super funny. All day at work we were talking about it and messaging everyone at home to know what was happening,” she said.

“There are no moose around, this is why everyone was so confused. You may see deer, but never moose.”

Cusson says authorities located the animal, tranquilized it and brought it to freedom.
