A man faces second-degree murder charges after what appears to have been a fight at a house in Virden, Man.
Virden RCMP were called to a house on Saturday at 1:15 p.m. after being told a man had been hurt. Police said several people were at the house when they arrived, and the man was in medical distress.

Police said the man’s injuries were consistent with being in a fight. The victim, 31, was taken to hospital but pronounced dead.

Cassidy Eagle, 31, of Canupawakpa Dakota First Nation, faces charges of second-degree murder. He is in custody.
