Man and woman facing multiple drug offences after police investigation

A man and woman are facing drug trafficking charges after Halifax Regional Police conducted a traffic stop in Dartmouth on Friday.

Police say that at 1:39 p.m. on July 20, officers conducted a traffic stop on Alfred Street in Dartmouth, N.S.

As a result of the traffic stop, police arrested a man and a woman, both from Dartmouth, for possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

A short time later, investigators served a search warrant at a residence on Alfred Street in Dartmouth.

Police seized quantities of cocaine, crack cocaine, hydromorphone, oxycodone and marijuana as part of the search.

A large quantity of cash and drug paraphernalia was also seized.

Greg William Keeping, 30, and Nichole Rhyno, 36, appeared in Dartmouth Provincial Court on Monday with each of them facing eight drug-related charges.
