One person was seriously injured after an SUV and tractor trailer collided along County Road 45 in Roseneath on Monday afternoon.
Police say a 62-year-old Trent Hills man and driver of the SUV involved in the crash was first transported from the scene to Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
He has been subsequently airlifted to Kingston General Hospital with “unknown injuries.”
County Rd. 45 is closed between Baxter and Coyle roads.
Southbound traffic on County Rd. 45 is being rerouted onto Baxter Road over to Webb Road to Coyle Road. Northbound traffic is being rerouted onto Coyle over to Webb Road to Baxter.
The driver of the transport truck was unharmed in the accident said OPP.
“It is unknown at this time how long the road closure is expected to last,” OPP stated.
