Early Friday morning police were called to a hotel on the 1800 block of Victoria Avenue East for a weapons offence.
It was reported that a group of males were seen exiting a third-floor room, with one man carrying a gun. An offensive gas believed to be bear spray, was present, coming from the room.
Officers arrived to learn four males had just left the hotel. Police entered the third-floor room to check for an injured person and saw drug paraphernalia, and a substance believed to be methamphetamine.
An investigation by police led to the arrest of an 18-year-old male and a 32-year-old female who were arrested nearby.
Krista Deloraine Marie Rogers of Regina and Sean Gary Stevenson were both charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
Both Rogers and Stevenson are scheduled to make their first court appearance on Monday.
