Seven Bingemans‘ employees were taken to a Kitchener hospital Saturday after a mix-up involving pool chemicals created poisonous gas.
Waterloo police said they were called to the entertainment complex on Saturday, just 10 minutes before the park opened for a report of a workplace incident.

Police say a park employee was attempting to mix pool chemicals for the water park but used the wrong combination which caused poisonous gas to be expelled.
Seven employees breathed in the poisonous gas and were taken to Grand River Hospital to be examined. None of the employees suffered critical injuries.
The Ministry of Labour is investigating the incident.
