RCMP said no one was injured and they believe it was an isolated incident and there is no risk to the public.

Global News has learned the house that was struck by bullets is acquainted with a witness who was supposed to testify on Wednesday in connection to a deadly shooting and kidnapping two years ago. The witness was the man who was kidnapped.

Xuan Vanvy Bacao and Samantha Le were found dead in an East Vancouver home in September 2016. A four-year-old boy witnessed it all.

The kidnapping victim, who is set to take the stand, was found two days later after a high-speed takedown in New Westminster.
