A major search-and-rescue operation is still underway Wednesday after three people fell from one of the pools atop Shannon Falls, south of Squamish, on Tuesday.
RCMP said the three people were with a group of friends when they slipped out of the water and fell into a pool 30 metres below.
WATCH: Search for missing hikers
Landon James with Squamish Search and Rescue said they have done a few helicopter flights in the area and there is a “rope-rescue team that is descending one of the slopes into one of the pools to have a look to see if there are spots we can’t see very well.”
Lions Bay Search and Rescue has also been called in to assist.
