It’s being considered the largest concert ever held by a local band.
About 24,000 people attended the show with the Arkells at Tim Hortons Field on Saturday night.
Prior to the show, the band joined fans for a ride on the city’s Sobi bikes from Gore Park to the stadium.
According to Tourism Hamilton, the concert was the biggest the city has seen since 1975, when more than 50,000 Pink Floyd fans packed Ivor Wynne Stadium.

One dollar from each ticket sold will be donated to the Refuge Hamilton Centre for Newcomer Health, which provides primary health-care services to new immigrant and refugee populations in Hamilton.

The concert also featured performances by the Cold War Kids, Bishop Briggs and Ellevator.
On the Arkells last tour, the group partnered up with the Canadian Council For Refugees.
