Saskatoon police say speed is considered a factor in a fatal single-vehicle collision on Circle Drive.
The crash near Preston Avenue was reported at around 12:45 a.m. CT on Sunday. The vehicle sustained major damage.
Upon arrival, members of the Saskatoon Fire Department found one occupant was involved. The vehicle was stabilized and hydraulic tools were used to gain access to the 20-year-old driver.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is not being released by police.
The collision analyst unit’s reconstructionists are attempting to determine the exact factors that led to the crash.
Eastbound traffic was restricted on Circle while a City of Saskatoon crew replaces damaged signage.
