Greetings Earthlings.
This is a very special evening if you are a full moon seeker, if you enjoy howling or maybe a romantic dinner by moonlight! Tonight, you will see a much bigger version of the glorious rock as it positions itself closest to the Earth in 18 years. What makes this extra special, is that the moon tonight has also become a full moon 1 hour apart from it's perigee (the position it is closest to the earth). This will make it (weather permitting of course) appear 30% brighter and 14% bigger than normal. I assure you, It is bigger than normal and is worth the look up tonight. It is a very clear night in the prairies and it shines beautifully so high in the sky.
