RCMP investigate suspicious death in Stettler

Stettler RCMP are investigating a suspicious death in the central Alberta town.

A man’s body was found inside a home during the evening of April 6.

Investigators put out a public plea to help find the victim’s truck were and were successfully able to track it down Saturday night.

“Two adult males and two adult females, all occupants of the truck were taken into custody on Highway 13 near Wetaskiwin in relation to possession of property obtained by crime,” Staff Sgt Jeremie Landry said in a news release Sunday.

RCMP said the victim has not been positively identified and an autopsy date has yet to be determined.

Stettler is located about 80 kilometres east of Red Deer, Alta.
