Michael Hutchinson sent back to Manitoba Moose

Michael Hutchinson has been sent back down to the Manitoba Moose.

The Winnipeg Jets sent back goalie Michael Hutchinson to the AHL’s Manitoba Moose ahead of Tuesday night’s home game against the Boston Bruins.

Hutchinson was called up after Steve Mason underwent knee surgery earlier this month.

Mason has struggled this season, playing only 12 games so far. Before the lower-body injury, he dealt with two separate concussions.

Hutchinson has bounced between the NHL and AHL this season. He recorded two wins in three starts with the Jets.
