Two people are facing charges after RCMP members southwest of Edmonton say they came across a robbery in progress.
At around 7 p.m. on Sunday, Thorsby RCMP were on patrol south of the town when they saw a “suspicious vehicle” parked in the driveway of a home in the area of Township Road 480 and Highway 778.
Police learned the licence plate on the vehicle was fake and arrested two people outside the home.
Kirk Kuske, 42, and Marcia Gold, 29, are both facing several charges, including breaking and entering, possession of stolen property and charges related to failure to comply with previous conditions.
