RCMP in Nova Scotia have charged two people after threats were allegedly made against staff at a high school St. Bernard.
According to Meteghan RCMP, officers began an investigation on Tuesday related to threats made by a 16-year-old boy towards staff at Saint Mary’s Bay Academy.

Through that investigation, police determined that a second man may have been involved and had a firearm.
A search warrant was executed at a man’s residence in Church Point. As a result, a firearm and ammunition were seized.

Joel André Gaudet, 27, has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unsafe storage of a firearm, breach of recognizance and two counts of breach of probation.
The 16-year-old has been charged with uttering threats.
Both were scheduled to appear in Annapolis Royal Provincial Court on Wednesday.
