Manitoba provincial park gets $20M to fix all that was destroyed in 2011 flood

BRANDON, Man. – A provincial park in western Manitoba is getting $20 million to fix damage from the 2011 flood.

Conservation Minister Gord Mackintosh says the cash will fix everything that was destroyed by the 2011 flood at Spruce Woods Provincial Park.

Mackintosh added they’ll also be adding electrical and full-service campsites.

The funding is part of a new park strategy that will see the province spend $100 million on parks across the province.
