Rockets fall to the Chiefs at home

The Kelowna Rockets lost 4-2 to the Spokane Chiefs on Saturday night at Prospera Place.

Spokane made it on the board first 7:17 into the first period.

The Chiefs took their 1-0 lead into the second frame.

Carson Twarynski scored his 40th goal of the season for the Rockets late in the second.

The power play goal evened the score 1-1 heading into the final stanza.

The Chiefs and Rockets traded points in the third to tie the game 2 all.

With just over a minute left on the clock, the Spokane Chiefs added one more goal to the board to pull ahead of the Rockets 3-2.

An empty netter marked the final goal of the game for the Chiefs who skated off the ice with a 4-2 win.

The Rockets are back in action on Wednesday when they host the Vancouver Giants.
