Three teenagers are facing a long list of charges after a wild morning in Burlington.
Just before 2 a.m. Friday morning, Halton regional police were called to Caplan Cres., near Fairview St. and Walkers Line, for reports of a male breaking into cars.
When officers arrived at the scene, police say two suspects fled in a white SUV while another person ran away on foot.
The suspect who ran off was found in the backyard of a home on nearby Montego Cres.
Police pursued the SUV, which was stolen from Hamilton, but ended the chase after the suspect’s vehicle ran a red light at Fairview St. and Walkers Line.
Moments later, officers found the unoccupied SUV after it struck a tree on Fairview St. and Inverary Rd., and arrested the two suspects.
Two 13-year-olds from Hamilton and Brantford and one 16-year-old from Hamilton face charges that include theft and possession of property obtained by crime.
